Kimmy is going to meet her Ryan in California!

Well, Kim is off again to much larger pastures this time! Folsom, California where Ryan is going to meet her in Sacramento and take her to visit his parents! Hopefully she will bring back lots of great pictures so we can add them to the site.
She has also decided to take one quarter off from school. We are going to miss the lil stinker! Have fun Kimmy!

There was a hit and run on the motorhome, the drivers side mirror was hanging by wires and banging along the side of the motorhome. Craig and I took off after them since we saw it happen, but we were inside a store. To make a long story short, the Newport police caught up with them and they said that they didn't know that their truck had hit us. Thank goodness, a witness who was following behind them got there license plate number and reported it to the police. If we hadn't caught up with them, my deductible would have been $500 to get it fixed.

While Kimberly had to work, the rest of the family took a quick RV trip over to the Oregon Coast to get my other surfboard.
It was being repaired and polished up by a good friend who lives in Newport, Oregon. He is from San Diego, a teacher and he makes his own surfboards. Ralph makes an awesome board with awesome designs. He specializes in Longboards, so far everyone who has ridden his boards are blown away. Since he has been a surfer for some years now, he has the knowledge to design the boards to match the level (capability) and style of the surfer . I know once he retires from teaching, he will have an excellent following of those looking for a custom surfboard.

But I have to say, I had a great time on the 4th taking pictures of the lightening storm
while the Fireworks were going off down at Riverfront Park.
On the 5th, Aunt Sharon, Uncle Craig and I went boating on Couer 'd Alene Lake.
Then on the way home from the lake, I get this phone call from Kimberly,
they had missed the plane in Reno because she had left her Cell Phone in the car
when they got dropped off at the airport.
So instead of just having Ryans parents mail her
the phone, she misses the plane. Good Times!
So they did get to spend an extra night at Tahoe.
Was this the plan all along???
They did manage to get checked in at the airport,
the luggage made it home on time!
